Emel Eryüksel

She was born on February 13, 1971, in Istanbul. She completed her medical education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1994, her residency in the Department of Pulmonary Medicine at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 2003, and her subspecialty training in Intensive Care Medicine at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 2008. Between 2009 and 2011, she worked as an intensive care specialist at Istanbul Yedikule Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Hospital. S. Emel Eryüksel, who received the title of Associate Professor in 2011 and Professor in 2017, is currently serving as a faculty member in the Department of Pulmonary Diseases and Intensive Care, Division of Intensive Care at Marmara University. Her main areas of interest are mechanical ventilation, ECMO, and sepsis.
