Özge Karaca completed her undergraduate education in Nursing at Trakya University and her master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa. Following her master’s degree, she began the Ph.D. Program in Psychiatric Nursing at Marmara University, where she is currently continuing her studies. Between 2020 and 2023, she worked as an intensive care nurse at Taksim Acıbadem Hospital, and between 2023 and 2025, she served as a research assistant at Kent University. Since May 2025, she has been working as a research assistant at the Department of Psychiatric Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Marmara University. She is a certified Laughter Yoga Leader, and her master’s thesis examined the effects of laughter therapy on the mental health of older adults. Her academic interests include psychosocial interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, laughter yoga, mental health in older adults, and nursing education.
