Asst. Prof. Dr. Özgür KILIÇ graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 2004. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Dokuz Eylül University and subsequently earned his subspecialty degree in Intensive Care Medicine at Hacettepe University. Following his compulsory service at Elbistan State Hospital, he worked for two years in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at the Istanbul Dr. Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital.
Since 2020, he has been serving as a faculty member in the Division of Intensive Care within the Department of Internal Medicine at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine. He also completed a short-term clinical fellowship in delirium and sedation at Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda University Hospital in Spain. His main academic interests include acid–base balance, arterial blood gas analysis, micronutrients, and the pathophysiology of shock.
