Specialist Nurse Sibel TURAN ÇAKIR

Sibel Turan Çakır was born in Zonguldak on October 4, 1975. She completed her undergraduate education at Istanbul University's Florence Nightingale School of Nursing in 1997. She completed her master's degree in Internal Medicine Nursing at Istanbul University's Institute of Health Sciences in 2010. She worked as a service nurse in the Microsurgery Unit at Private Kadıköy Vatan Hospital in 1997-1998, and as an intensive care nurse in the Internal Medicine Intensive Care Unit at Marmara University Hospital from 1998 to 2008. She served as head nurse in the Internal Medicine Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, and Coronary Intensive Care Unit at Marmara University Hospital from 2008 to 2010. Since 2010, she has been serving as the charge nurse in the Internal Medicine Intensive Care Unit at Marmara University Pendik Training and Research Hospital. She holds an Intensive Care Nursing certificate and serves as an instructor in the hospital's Adult and Pediatric Intensive Care Nursing certification programs. She has served as an instructor, organizing committee member, and speaker at numerous scientific meetings in the field of intensive care nursing. She has published dissertations and research in the field of intensive care nursing. Most recently, during the ongoing global and national pandemic since March 2020, she participated in the establishment of four intensive care units at the Ministry of Health's Asaf Ataseven Hospital. She continues to serve at the same institution.
