Melda Türkoğlu

Date of Birth: December 9, 1974, Ankara, Turkey She was born on December 9, 1974, in Ankara. After graduating first in her class from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (Turkish Medicine) in 1998, she completed her specialization in internal medicine at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2002, and her intensive care specialization in 2006. She received one month of training in 2001 at the University of Leicester Nephrology Department in England, and three months of training in 2004 at the anesthesia and surgical intensive care clinic of the University of Florida in the United States. Since 2007, she has been working as the responsible faculty member at the Department of Internal Medicine Intensive Care Unit at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. She received her associate professorship in 2013. Her areas of interest include: intensive care infections, ventilator-associated pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome, and clinical nutrition.
